From 1 to 5 July 2019, the College of Europe Development Office welcomed 36 students and 6 faculty members of the Master in Public Administration of the Norwegian University of Science and Technology – NTNU Trondheim to attend the second edition of the Summer School on current challenges in the EU. The first edition of this course took place in 2018, from 2 to 6 July.

Thanks to workgroups, lectures and discussions, the participants got the opportunity to analyse and strengthen their understanding of the current trends and challenges of the European Union, including the EU and the EEA after Brexit, domestic social cohesion and cross-border mobility, Europe’s economic and monetary union, and the EU’s main responses to new security challenges.

The programme also included group work sessions organized after the lectures, so that the participants could discuss the main topics from a Norwegian perspective.
