Webinar on "The European energy policy – State of the Energy Union" with Professor BUSCHLE

From 15:00 till 15:30

The College of Europe was happy to offer a webinar on the Energy Union: "European energy policy – State of the Energy Union". It took place on 2 March 2017 from 15:00 to 15:30 and was lectured by Professor BUSCHLE.

Delivering the Energy Union, a top priority for the Juncker Commission, requires coordinated action of policy makers, energy producers and consumers at the EU, regional, national and local level in a wide number of areas. Two years after the publication of the Energy Union strategy, the webinar analysed how decisions are made and implemented to bring about the transition to a continent-wide low-carbon, secure and competitive economy. "Innovation is nowadays more than ever a challenge but also a chance for Energy matters", stated Mr BUSCHLE.

Professor BUSCHLE is the Chairholder of the European Energy Policy Chair at the College of Europe and Deputy Director of the Energy Community Secretariat. The webinar linked directly with his session in the Executive Education course on the Energy Union offered by the College of Europe Development Office.

A recording of the webinar is available on this page: www.coleurope.eu/development/webinars
