Professor Georges MINK, Permanent Professor in the European Civilization Chair at the College of Europe in Natolin, was invited to participate in the "1980 - The Solidarity Moment" conference at the University of Geneva.
On 22 November 2023, Professor MINK delivered a lecture titled "The Epopee of Solidarność seen from France: universal model or simply conjunctural use in domestic politics?"
The one-day conference focused on the Solidarność movement in its entirety, examining its memory and the construction of its narrative. It revisited Solidarność narratives by re-examining historiography, photography, and film.
