Programme Officer at the Capacity Building Office - College of Europe in Natolin

The College of Europe, established on the initiative of the Hague Congress, dates back to 1949 and is the oldest postgraduate institute of European studies. After the end of the Cold War, in 1992 the College of Europe in Natolin began its mission to prepare students to think beyond disciplinary boundaries, beyond preconceptions, and to encourage them to build bridges and embrace a wider perspective on Europe. Today, the College of Europe in Natolin looks at Europe and its complex neighbourhoods, both facing major external and internal challenges of which security comes to the fore yet again. 

The Capacity Building Programme at the College of Europe in Natolin is designed to help students bridge the gap between academic learning and professional life. It provides a dynamic environment for developing the skills, confidence, and perspectives needed to thrive in international careers. It offers a comprehensive framework combining practical training, career development support, and personalised guidance, in close connection with institutional partners and professional networks across Europe and beyond.  

We are currently seeking applications for the Programme Officer Position at the Capacity building Office with a starting date in July 2026. 

Required profile: 

  • Degree in international affairs or European studies.  
  • Excellent command of English and a good working knowledge of French. 
  • Creativity and the ability to propose new ideas, initiatives, and improvements. 
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills. 
  • Flexibility and the ability to prioritise and organise tasks efficiently (working hours may include evenings or weekends). 
  • Strong ability to work effectively as part of a team. 
  • High interest in tutoring and working with students. 
  • Previous experience at the College of Europe is an asset, but not a requirement. 

Key responsibilities: 

  • Contributing to the planning of the Capacity Building Programme; 
  • Maintaining regular contact with students regarding career services and professional development activities; 
  • Supporting logistical and administrative arrangements related to the Office’s activities; 
  • Participating in the organisation and implementation of the annual Career Day; 
  • Monitoring the career coaching programme; 
  • Performing any other tasks as requested by the direct supervisor. 

About the position 

  • The position is full-time, based in Warsaw. 
  • We offer a one-year contract under Polish law, renewable. 
  • Gross salary range between 8000 & 9000 PLN.
