Social Media Officer – College of Europe in Natolin
The College of Europe in Natolin is seeking applications for Social Media Officer with a starting date in September-October 2026.
The role offers the possibility to contribute to the College of Europe in Natolin’s digital communications by creating engaging content, strengthening its online presence, and showcasing its academic excellence, vibrant campus life, and international community to audiences across Europe and beyond.
About the College of Europe in Natolin
Established on the initiative of the Hague Congress in 1949, the College of Europe is the world’s oldest postgraduate institute of European studies. After the end of the Cold War, in 1992 the College of Europe in Natolin began its mission to prepare students to think not only beyond disciplinary boundaries, but also beyond preconceptions, and to encourage them to build bridges and embrace a wider perspective on Europe.
Ever since its foundation, the College of Europe in Natolin has been home to the academic programme of European Interdisciplinary Studies, regularly adapting its content to the changing international context and exploring emerging areas of study in European affairs.
Your role
As part of the Natolin Communications Office, you will help shape how the world sees the College of Europe in Natolin.
You will spend time engaging with people, creating content, identifying stories worth telling, and translating them into engaging social media content.
Key responsibilities
- Manage College of Europe in Natolin social media channels, including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, and other relevant platforms;
- Identify and develop compelling stories and create engaging content for social media;
- Cover academic events, study trips, guest lectures, student activities, and campus life through live and post-event communications;
- Support the planning and implementation of the College of Europe in Natolin social media strategy and editorial calendar;
- Monitor audience engagement, social media trends, and platform analytics, providing recommendations to improve performance;
- Collaborate closely with other departments, students, alumni, and external partners to identify and develop compelling stories;
- Support the development and implementation of the marketing campaign during the admissions period.
We are looking for someone who
- Has a university degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, European Studies, or a related field;
- Has a passion for social media and digital storytelling;
- Has excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
- Has relevant professional experience in social media, digital communications, content creation, or a comparable role;
- Is familiar with social media management, scheduling, and analytics tools;
- Has strong interpersonal and organisational skills;
- Is creative and attentive to detail;
- Is comfortable working in an international and multicultural environment.
