Communication Officer in the Natolin4Capacity Building Project - College of Europe in Natolin (Ukrainian language needed)

The College of Europe in Natolin hereby wishes to invite interested candidates to apply for the role of Communication Officer, working within the context of the project Natolin4Capacity Building (full title: Capacity Building for Integration and Reform – enhancing the administrative capacity of Ukrainian civil service for European integration through a comprehensive educational programme).

About the role

The responsibilities entailed in the role shall include - but not be limited to - the following:

  • implementation and monitoring of an effective strategy for the promotion of the project in close cooperation with the project Team Leader, including the implementation of a detailed communication plan in line with the manual on promoting the visibility of EU external actions: The Communication and Visibility Manual for EU External Actions; and other manuals containing communication guidelines, as indicated by the European Commission;
  • implementation of activities related to the communication / promotion of the project in cooperation with an external contractor, including substantive supervision of conducted activities;
  • active promotion of activities carried out in the project in national and international media, running and updating the website and FB of the project as well as via the own media channels of the College of Europe in Natolin in cooperation with relevant units of the institution;
  • active cooperation with media and external organizations, to the extend agreed with the Project Manager, including, among others: developing and distributing of announcements and ready-made publications, inviting media to events, media monitoring;
  • development of project materials (e.g. reports, information materials, presentations, brochures, diplomas, certificates, content on the website and electronic platform, and social media);
  • coordination of the process of preparing and producing promotional and information materials, as well as supervision over the implementation of the promotion budget;
  • ensuring an effective branding of the project and the implementing institution;
  • close ongoing cooperation with the relevant departments of the Orderer to ensure consistency of the project's communication and promotion activities with the regulations, standards and good practices of the College of Europe in Natolin in this area;
  • organization of lectures, workshops, meetings in Poland and abroad and other events popularizing the activities and results of the project.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Promotion / Advertising / Political Science / Journalism or a related field; 
  • Professional experience in the scope of implementation of promotional strategies, marketing activities, cooperation with media; 
  • Ability to formulate promotional content in English and Ukrainian; 
  • Knowledge of English and Ukrainian languages at C1/C2 level {1};
  • Knowledge of Polish is desirable;
  • Ability to work remotely with usage of the Office 365 package;
  • Possession of a work permit, in the case of foreigners, if applicable.
