On 15 June 2010 the departements of European Legal Studies and European Economic Studies of the College of Europe organised the 6th ELEA symposium.

The topics were “The third telecoms package” chaired by Inge Govaere, Director of European Legal Studies, College of Europe, Professor of European Law, University of Ghent, “State aids to banks in the economic crisis” chaired by Jacques Pelkmans, Jan Tinbergen Chair for European Economics; Director, European Economic Studies, College of Europe; Senior Fellow, Center for European Policy Studies, and “Comments and first instances of application of the Article 102 guidance paper” chaired by Giorgio Monti, Reader in Law, London School of Economics and Political Science.

The event was open to the ELEA students, the ELEA professors and other invited professors, the rector, the speakers and the assistants of the European Legal Studies law and the European Economic Studies departments.
