CoEFA Study Visit: EEAS

The College of Europe Foreign Affairs (CoEFA) student group organized a visit to the headquarters of the European External Action Service (EEAS).

The visit took take place on 3 March 2016, with the following programme:

  • 09:00 Welcome by Ms Nicole MEIJER in the main entrance of the EEAS building.
  • 09:15 Function and role of the European External Action Service by Mr David TUNNEY, Information and Communication Officer, Strategic Communications Division.
  • 10:15 Coffe Break.
  • 10:30 Crisis management with a Common Security and Defence Policy perspective by Mr Snowy LINTERN, Senior Strategic Planner, Integrated Strategic Planning Unit, Crisis Management and Planning Directorate.
  • 11:30 EU Military Capability Development by Mr Thomas EPPACHER, Project Officer Capability Development Plan and Collaborative Database, European Defence Agency.
  • 12:30 End of Visit.
