The Development Office of the College of Europe is organizing, in partnership with the EU Delegation in China (EU-China Trade Project (II)), the second "Competition Summer School for Chinese Officials" in Bruges and Brussels from 30 June to 11 July 2014.

The participants are senior Chinese officials working in the field of competition from different Anti-Monopoly Enforcement Agencies.

The Summer School aims at providing participants with detailed knowledge and updates of the latest developments in EU competition law, taking into account the professional needs of the specific target audience. The two-week tailored course includes interactive lectures on a wide range of competition law issues, with training sessions focusing on: competition policy and fundamentals of EU competition law, economics of competition law, article 101, article 102, article 106, anti-trust procedure, state aid policy, mergers and acquisitions.

The programme also includes a study-visit to the Directorate-General for Competition in Brussels.
