The College of Europe Development Office is organizing a one-day training on “EU Terminology and EU Databases” for up to 30 parliamentary research and committee staff members from Western Balkan parliaments. This training will take place on 9 October 2014 in Slovenia and is organized in cooperation with the Geneva Centre for the Democratic Control of Armed Forces (DCAF).
This training is implemented in the “Framework Project - Fostering Parliamentary Oversight of the Security Sector in the Western Balkans” implemented with the financial support of the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This project aims to support national parliaments from the Western Balkans region in fulfilling their constitutional role as legislative, representative, and oversight bodies in the field of security and defence.
