Opening Ceremony, Bruges Campus

The Opening Ceremony of the sixty-sixth academic year of the College of Europe, Bruges campus, took place at the ‘Stadsschouwburg’ on Wednesday 7 October 2015 at 2.30 p.m.

Mr Alexander STUBB, Minister of Finance of Finland, delivered the opening address to the students of the Chopin Promotion, professors, staff and invited guests of the College of Europe.

Rector Jörg MONAR presented “The College of Europe in 2015-2016” and recalled Chopin, Patron of the Promotion 2015-2016.

Mr Íñigo MÉNDEZ DE VIGO, Spanish Minister for Education, Culture and Sport, and President of the Administrative Council of the College of Europe, presided over the ceremony.
