"The EU Global Strategy Five Years on: How Has It Stood the Test of Time?"
The European Union’s Global Strategy was introduced in 2016 as a response to the growing global challenges. Its ambition is to make the EU more effective in confronting energy security, climate change, migration and violent extremism. The Strategy sets out the interests, principles and priorities for the EU in a more connected and complex world. Today, five years later, we can summarize the hitherto efforts and try to draw conclusions for the future.
