10th Anniversary of the Eastern Partnership

On 27-28 March 2019, the College of Europe in Natolin organizes a series of special events on the occasion of the 10th Anniversary of the Eastern Partnership (EaP) – an element of the EU’s foreign policy elaborated on the basis of a Polish-Swedish initiative that is aimed at strengthening and deepening relations between the EU and the six EaP countries, Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as fostering bilateral and multilateral cooperation.

27 March 2019 // 9:00-15:00 – New Generation Summit

The New Generation Summit is an initiative of the European Neighbourhood Policy Student Society of the European Interdisciplinary Studies programme. During the Summit, the participants will discuss achievements and future goals of the Eastern Partnership and will prepare an official declaration including policy recommendations.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sweden, Ms Margot WALLSTRÖM, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland, Mr Jacek CZAPUTOWICZ, as well as the Secretary General of the European External Action Service, Ms Helga SCHMID, will debate on the past, present and future of the Eastern Partnership.

28 March 2019 // 9:00-18:30 – International Conference

The international conference organized by the European Neighbourhood Policy Chair entitled "The Eastern Partnership 10 Years after the Prague Summit: In Search of New Momentum" will address the four EaP thematic platforms (democracy, good governance and stability; economic integration and convergence with EU sectoral policies; energy security; people-to-people contacts) with the participation of leading experts.
