The 4th edition of the Energy Union course taking place this summer in Bruges

The College of Europe is organizing the 4th edition of the Energy Union Course from 1 to 12 July 2019 in Bruges in partnership with InnoEnergy, who will provide trainers and participants to the course.

This two-week executive training course embraces the logic of the Energy Union, thus putting energy consumers—i.e. businesses and households—at the centre of European energy systems and policy-making. Throughout the two weeks, the participants will analyse and discuss the various elements of the Energy Union, from the geopolitics of energy and energy security to climate change, as well as energy efficiency, innovation, and storage.

Moreover, following the European elections, that have led to an increase of seats in the European Parliament for the Greens, the course will help participants (through sessions on EU energy governance), grasp how this new European Parliament and the subsequent new European Commission will affect the Energy Union’s objectives.
