In the framework of its collaboration with the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Brussels, the College of Europe organized the third edition of a tailored five-day training course on “The European Union and its Institutions at work” on 20-24 April 2015. The course was designed to improve the EU-related knowledge of a group of 20 Saudi Arabian diplomats. The training course took place in Brussels (Belgium) and comprised lectures on the EU Institutions, its decision making process and selected EU policies (EU trade policy, EU energy policy, EU visa policy). Furthermore, the programme included several visits to the EU Institutions, where participants had the opportunity to meet officials working in relevant policy fields.
