Armenia & Georgia – two study visits for students of the Armenian Diplomatic School and for civil servants of the Georgian Diplomatic Training Centre

In the framework of the EU funded project “Support to Capacity and Institution Building of the Diplomatic Academy in Armenia”, the College of Europe Development Office is organizing a study tour to Brussels and Vienna for 28 students and staff of the Diplomatic School of Armenia, taking place from 8 to 12 September. Similarly, from 29 September to 3 October, in the framework of the EU funded project “Capacity Building in International Relations, Georgia”, a study visit organized by the College of Europe Development Office for 10 Georgian civil servants complementing training received on Negotiations will take place in Bruges and Brussels.

During their study tour the Armenian participants will have the opportunity to visit major EU institutions (the European Parliament, the European Commission, the Council and the EEAS) and NATO in Brussels as well as the OSCE, UN and IAEA in Vienna. Furthermore, they will be kindly welcomed by the Permanent Mission of Armenia to NATO, the Armenian Embassy to Belgium, and the Armenian Embassy to Austria.

As for the Georgian participants, during the study visit they will follow a negotiations simulation exercise in Bruges and will visit the EU institutions and relevant organisations in Brussels, such as the EP, the EC, the Council, the EEAS, NATO and the Permanent Representations to France and Germany.

In the framework of two EU funded projects, two study visits will take place in Brussels and Vienna for students of the Armenian Diplomatic School and for civil servants of the Georgian Diplomatic Training Centre.
