On 6 December 2018, six students of the Department of European Political and Governance Studies and the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy Studies attended the European Defence Industry Summit at le Cercle de Lorraine, Brussels. In several panel discussions, high-level speakers discussed topics such as cybersecurity, cyber defence technology and innovation, and the idea of a Defence Union and a European Defence Fund.
