Dossier « Citoyenneté, migrations, frontières »

Between September and December 2010, twelve students of both campuses of the College of Europe (Bruges and Natolin) looked into questions related to citizenship, migrations and borders in Europe. These questions revealed to be very topical (e.g. in the light of the controversy over the Roma people) and remain at heart of European debates, related to the massive influx of African refugees to Europe, or to the polemics about the enlargement and/or temporary suspension of the Schengen Zone.

Dossier « Famille »

Between January and April 2011 thirteen students of both campuses of the College of Europe looked into variable realities of family in Europe. The question of children, their rights and protection was a strong focal point of this topic. The articles provided interesting elements of reflection over different roles of the family structure, different perceptions of family and of its composition throughout the European continent and beyond.

Dossier « Service européen pour l’action extérieure »

In May and June 2011, six assistants of the College of Europe and one of its professors looked into the question of the European External Action Service. Both its administrative and political aspects were under scrutiny. The possibility of a single European voice was also examined, the same as the reaction of Lady ASHTON and of her service to the burning current events in the Arab world.
