College of Europe European Energy Policy Chair

In October 2013, thanks to the financing of the ALCOA Foundation, the College of Europe established a new "European Energy Policy Chair" in its Department of European Political and Administrative Studies.

In addition to teaching a course on EU Energy Policy, the Chair will carry out various research and publication projects in the field of energy, including a quarterly energy bulletin. The Chair will also organize regular events, including keynote lectures, seminars and high-level conferences. The opening conference focusing on the future of European energy governance is planned for April 2014. It will bring together high-level officials, stakeholders and experts from the EU energy sector and beyond.
