College of Europe Executive Education courses in October and November

The Executive Education offered by the Development Office of the College of Europe comprises five training courses in autumn taking place either in October or November.

The first course which will be rolled out is a short half-day workshop on “EU Fact Finding” taking place on 9 October in Brussels. Through this workshop participants learn how to navigate through the numerous EU-related websites in a time-efficient and targeted manner.

EU Diplomacy & Diplomatic Skills” is the second course being organised for this coming autumn, and specifically from 12 to 14 October at the College of Europe’s premises in Bruges. This training programme offers an introduction into the diplomacy of the EU and gives an opportunity to understand relevant diplomatic skills thanks to the practical training sessions.

The third Executive Education course being offered in autumn, specifically from 26 to 28 October, is “Trade Policy”. Also taking place at the College of Europe’s premises in Bruges, this course aims at giving a detailed introduction to the essentials of EU Trade Law and the WTO.

The last two training programmes – “Negotiations in Practice” and “EU Project Management” – are implemented in parallel during the week of 16-20 November in Bruges. Both have strong practical components. The “Negotiations in Practice” course, in fact, in addition to covering the specificities of the EU decision-making process, enhances the negotiation and communication skills of the participants through numerous exercises and a simulation game. The “EU Project Management” course, through case studies and project simulations, aims at providing participants with a comprehensive knowledge of essential techniques for successful and cost-effective management of EU projects.
