The Heads of the UN agencies based in Belgium are holding their annual Retreat at the College of Europe on 20 and 21 February. They will be welcomed by the Rector ahead of their meetings. The United Nations team brings together 27 specialised agencies, funds and programmes spanning the development, humanitarian and human rights work of the UN. The Director of the UN Office in Brussels is the representative of the UN Secretary-General to the European Union institutions. The team works to strengthen the strategic partnership between the UN and the EU at the global and local level.
