College students in final round of NATO Debate on burden-sharing

A group of students from Professor Alexander MATTELAER’s class "European Defence Cooperation and NATO" of the Department of EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies, is participating in an international competition of university teams on the topic of "Fulfilling NATO's burden-sharing commitments: Advocacy and policy proposals from the Alliance’s young leaders". This NATO Debate is organised by the George Washington University. All teams prepared a video presentation on the topic of NATO burden-sharing. The video of the College team, consisting of Jan LEPEU, Emerick LOVASZ, Khrystyna PARANDII, Paolo RECALDINI, Roy TZIVRA, Cecilia VIDOTTO and Colin WALL, was selected for the second round of the competition, which takes place in Brussels on 17-19 June 2019. It will comprise a debate among the finalists, a conference and a simulation exercise organised by the Allied Command Transformation.
