Competition Policy and High-Tech Markets – 2018 edition

This three-day course on Competition Policy and High-Tech Markets will enable participants to deepen their understanding on how competition law can serve as an effective tool to further the objective of a digital single market in the European Union, promoting competition, eliminating anti-competitive trade barriers and enhancing market efficiency. The role of algorithms in cartels and in abuse of dominance cases, as well as the treatment of online markets in merger control will also be discussed.  The third edition of the course will take place from 16 to 18 July 2018.

To enhance the experience, the programme mixes regular classes with interactive sessions and keynote speeches/dinner talks, which provide an ideal discussion platform between the participants and high-level experts from academia, industry and institutions.

For those interested, the course can be attended together with the course on EU Competition Law (9 – 13 July 2018); by so doing, participants can benefit from a price reduction for both courses.
