The Department of EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies participates in the London International Model United Nations (LIMUN).

From 26 February to 1 March 2015, ten students of the Department of EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies at the Bruges campus will represent the College of Europe in the 2015 London International Model United Nations (LIMUN). LIMUN is the largest annual Model United Nations conference in Europe and has a reputation for its exceptional high standard of debate. It therefore provides an excellent opportunity for the students to put their theoretical knowledge acquired at the College in practical use and to help them deepen their understanding of international relations and the UN-system in particular.
The members of the College of Europe delegation are Enika BUSHI (AL), Rannvá CLEMENTSEN (DK), Maryna IAROSHEVYCH  (UA), Emma RODRIGUEZ MONTES (ES), Michaela ŠIMAKOVA (SK), Enric BRINES GOMEZ (ES), Andrea CHIARELLO (IT), Erik LINDNER OLSSON (SE), Jean-Sébastien MARRE (FR) and Kaspar MEYER (DE). In order to prepare them for the conference, the department has organized a comprehensive training course dealing with all relevant aspects of a MUN conference.
During the conference they will be representing France, Poland and Austria in various UN-Committees including the Security Council, WHO, UNODC and UNEP, as well as in a simulation of the European Council that will be held in French.
We wish them best luck!
