In cooperation with Lieven TACK, visiting Professor at the College of Europe, the Development Office has organised another set of online training courses in the field of European economics. The course is open for all EU officials who want to know more about the importance of economics in their daily life and work. Through short scene-setters and interactive games the participants learn how economics is applied in policy-making in the EU.
The course is taught and presented in a visually appealing way and includes several attention-grabbing adds and interactive exercises, such as virtual breakout rooms and online polls. The online format of the training stimulates the participants to engage in lively debates and to apply their knowledge in a direct way.
Prof. TACK has already delivered two online courses on “Economics for Everyone” this year. Each course had a duration of 3 half-days. The content of the course, including the impact of COVID-19 on the European economy, sparked the conversation among the participants and the trainer.
