The College of Europe Development Office implemented the second series of diplomatic and executive training courses in the framework of the EU-funded project EU Public Diplomacy in Latin America in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia and Peru. As was done in 2017 for the organization of the courses, the College of Europe Development Office mobilized experts and trainers to cover the following topics: EU institutional framework, decision-making process, external relations, EU trade, and negotiations.
The first diplomatic and executive training course was held in Buenos Aires from 5 to 9 March 2018. The training programmes in Brazil, Colombia and Peru were implemented between April and May 2018.
The project is funded by the EU and managed by the Organization of Ibero-American States, which solicited the College of Europe for the organization and implementation of diplomatic and executive training due to its recognized expertise in the field.
