Dr Andriy TYUSHKA published a chapter on hybrid war and peace in "Panorama of Global Security Environment 2015-2016"

Dr Andriy TYUSHKA, Research Fellow in the European Neighbourhood Policy Chair at the Natolin campus of the College of Europe, has just published a chapter on hybrid war and peace in the edited volume Panorama of Global Security Environment 2015-2016.

This chapter conceptually delimits the politicized notion of 'hybrid warfare' (the combination of military and non-military warfare in a given operational theatre) and that of 'hybrid war' (a state of undeclared, deniable or 'dirty' war) in the context of Russia's growingly aggressive gambit in Ukraine and further afield. It also explains what ramifications for international – foremost, European – security such a proliferation of the 'hybrid war(fare)' paradigm entails.
