Dr Angelos KATSARIS has recently joined the European Neighbourhood Policy Chair as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow

Dr Angelos KATSARIS received his PhD in Politics and International Relations from the University of Southampton, UK, and his MA in European and International Studies from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece.

His doctoral thesis focused on the Europeanisation of the EU’s southern neighbourhood through policy networks. In particular, he examined how the European Commission advances climate change mitigation and climate change adaptation in Morocco and Algeria through the adoption of an actor-centred policy network approach. During his 6-months fellowship within the ENP Chair, Dr KATSARIS will be drafting and submitting articles and papers based on his doctoral thesis.
