On 10 March 2016, Dr Anna-Sophie MAASS, Post-doctoral Research Fellow in the European Neighbourhood Policy Chair at the Natolin (Warsaw) campus of the College of Europe, presented a paper in a symposium on "The Crisis of Democracy Promotion: The Rhetorics and Practice of the EU’s Democratization Policy in Its Neighbourhood" at the University of Groningen, in the Netherlands.
Dr MAASS’ paper examined the limitations of the EU's normative facets in its relations with Georgia and Armenia between 2013 and 2015.
