On 31 March and 1 April 2016, Dr François FINCK, Senior Academic Assistant at the Natolin (Warsaw) campus of the College of Europe, took part in the workshop "International Law’s Objects", organized by the Queen Mary Centre for Law and Society in a Global Context and the University of New South Wales Faculty of Law, at Queen Mary University in London.
Dr FINCK's paper on the "Transnistrian Border Check-point" explored the issues of borders, secession and the effects of non-recognition and international engagement on a frozen conflict, with a focus on the case of Transnistria.
