Dr Kerry LONGHURST gave a lecture at the Defence Academy of the United Kingdom

On 9 January 2015, Dr Kerry LONGHURST, Senior Researcher at the Natolin (Warsaw) campus of the College of Europe, was invited to give a lecture to senior military officers from all over the world at the Defence Academy of the United Kingdom at the Joint Services Command and Staff College in Shrivenham, UK.

        

Dr LONGHURST's lecture focused on Poland and Central European Security issues, including questions relating to the implications of the war in Ukraine and Russia’s foreign policy in the Eastern neighbourhood. The lecture also considered prospects for greater regional integration and security cooperation within the Central European region.

     

The lecture was given as part of the UK Ministry of Defence and Armed Services advanced training course for military and civilian personnel.
