ERMES III panel on inclusion at the EU Community of Practice on Mediation

The project team of the EU-funded ERMES III project (European Resources for Mediation Support) and representatives of the members of the consortium implementing the project took part in a panel discussion on “Inclusive peace processes. How to better achieve goals of inclusion: towards a common vision”.

The panel was held in the framework of the 2020 EU Community of Practice on Mediation, a forum for discussion to help shape the next EU Concept on Mediation and EU Guidelines on Mediation.

The ERMES III panel was moderated by the project Team Leader, Ms Victoria FLORINDER, and comprised speakers from Fondation Hirondelle, Interpeace and ECES, who discussed inclusion in peace processes via increased media-inclusion, cross-thematic collaboration (i.e. mediation in electoral processes) and inter-connectedness between dialogue-tracks.

A mapping of the whole Community of Practice’s conclusions can be accessed here.
