The College of Europe Development Office organized its yearly course on EU Diplomacy and Diplomatic Skills.
The European Union’s diplomatic efforts and external representation are inherently different from the Member States’ external policies. The EU, with its strong background in peace mediation and public diplomacy, can be considered a unique diplomatic entity and a fascinating study object.
Participants received a well-rounded view into the world of EU Diplomacy through workshops such as ‘EU Public Diplomacy’, ‘EU & Peace Mediation’ and ‘Political Analysis & Reporting’.
Through training by leading experts and academics, participants learned how the EU conducts its diplomacy and drew lessons from the concrete examples analysed.
