EU Diplomacy & Diplomatic Skills course at the College of Europe, Bruges campus

With the aim of exploring a specifically European dimension of diplomacy, the College of Europe is organizing the 5th edition of ‘EU Diplomacy & Diplomatic Skills’. This training course offers the opportunity to gain an in-depth and practical understanding of the core diplomatic skills.

The EU is facing several significant internal and external challenges and its diplomacy, and the diplomatic skills of the involved parties, play a key role in dealing with this complex international scenario.

Through case studies and practical exercises, participants will learn how to communicate, report and negotiate in a diplomatic context. Participants will also have the opportunity to develop a public diplomacy campaign and understand how public diplomacy has been affected by technological and social change.

The course is taking place at the College of Europe premises in Bruges from 10 to 12 October 2016.
