The European University Institute (EUI) and the College of Europe signed an important framework agreement aimed at closer cooperation across a wide range of fields. The agreement covers cooperation on the selection of students, joint conferences, summer programmes and academic staff exchange.
The EUI and the College of Europe will also work together to share knowledge, expertise and best practices.
The official signing ceremony of the agreement took place on Wednesday 1 October 2014 in the presence of J. M. BARROSO, President of the European Commission at the Jean Monnet / ECSA conference.
The signing was also be witnessed by A. VASSILIOU, Commissioner for Education, Training, Multilingualism and Youth and X. PRATS MONNÉ, Director-General of DG Education and Culture and a former student of the College of Europe (Johan Willem BEYEN Promotion 1981-1982).
