French training for OIF in Czech Republic and IGPDE in Paris

As part of a partnership programme with the International Organization of the Francophonie (OIF) entitled "The French language in diplomacy and public service", the College of Europe Development Office will organize a training course for Czech officials on 13 and 14 October 2014. Lead by Alejandro RIBO LABASTIDA, this training will be on "EU Decision making and negotiations within the EU".

The programme will include the framework and process of negotiation within the institutions of the European Union, the functioning of the Council, the role of Member States and simulation games.

Within the framework of its cooperation with the Institute for Public Management and Economic Development (IGPDE), the College of Europe will develop and deliver a training session in European affairs to French officials of the Ministry of Economy and Finance. The training session will be delivered by Thierry CHOPIN on 9 and 10 October 2014.

The College of Europe Development Office will organize in October two training courses: on EU negotiations for Czech officials and on European affairs for officials of the French Ministry of Economy and Finance.
