On Friday 4 November, five alumni from the 2010-2011 Einstein Promotion, visited the Accenture Technology Lab in Sofia Antipolis (France).

The five former students from the Politics DepartmentLaure ANTONIOTTI (FR), Claire BAFFERT (FR), Loretta MARSHALL (UK), Pierre STEVERLYNCK (BE) and Camilla RANDAZZO (IT) - had worked on a state transformation case study on health care services in the region of Valencia, Spain.

Their project, presented at the Government of the Future Summit in May 2011 in competition with three other case studies, was awarded the ‘2011 Public Service Innovation Award’.

The visit of the Sofia Antipolis Accenture Technology Lab, one of the four Research and Technological Innovation Labs developed by Accenture in the world, was part of the first prize awarded to the team. In Sofia Antipolis, the students were presented the Accenture Technology vision for 2011 through stimulating workshop on topics such as digital health, biometrics, financial services or smart cities.
