Professor Alan K. HENRIKSON is Director of Diplomatic Studies at The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University.
The College of Europe would like to thank Professor HENRIKSON, Fulbright Professor during the academic year 2010-2011, for his great contribution to the academic and social life at the College.
He taught the compulsory course "Diplomacy Today: Theory and Practice" in the Department of EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies, supervised several Master's theses, participated in conferences, gave guest-lectures to visitors at the College and organized a student excursion to NATO SHAPE in Mons (Belgium).
Moreover, he was invited to speak, inter alia, at the European Parliament, the Diplomatic Academy in Vienna, the Croatian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, and several universities and institutes in Belgium, Germany, Portugal, Greece and Italy.
The College of Europe wishes him and his wife Pam a safe return to the United States and all the best.
