The College is pleased to announce that the Faculty of Law of Uppsala University has decided to award a Honorary Doctorate in Law to Professor Hans NILSSON on account of his distinguished contribution to the development of EU judicial cooperation.
The Doctorate will be conferred in the Aula of Uppsala University – which is the oldest university of Scandinavia (1477) - on 27 January 2012.
Hans NILSSON, who is a Head of Division in the Council of the European Union, has been a Professor in the Department of Political and Administrative Studies since 1997.
