In the framework of the EU-funded project “Support to Capacity and Institution Building of the Diplomatic Academy in Armenia”, the College of Europe Development Office, in collaboration with Business & Strategies Europe, assisted the Diplomatic School of Armenia in organizing 8-week internships for young diplomats in Armenian Embassies in Brussels, Vienna, Strasbourg and Geneva in 2014 and 2015. These embassies deal respectively with relations of Armenia with the EU, the OSCE, the Council of Europe and the UN. The beneficiary of the training period in the Embassy of Armenia in Brussels had the opportunity to spend 4 weeks working in the European External Action Service (EEAS).
In the framework of this project, a study trip was organized from 13 to 18 September to Brussels and Vienna for future diplomats coming from the Diplomatic School of Armenia.
