Dr Irene FERNÁNDEZ MOLINA and Dr Dimitris BOURIS, Research Fellows of the European Neighbourhood Policy Chair at the College of Europe, Natolin (Warsaw) campus, participated in the Annual Conference of the British Society for Middle Eastern Studies (BRISMES): "The Middle East in Global Perspective: Interactions across Time and Space", which was held at the University of Sussex, Brighton, from 16 to 18 June 2014.

At the conference, Dr FERNÁNDEZ MOLINA  and Dr BOURIS organized together a panel on "The EU's Involvement in Conflicts in the Middle East and North Africa" and presented their respective research papers.

Recently, Dr FERNÁNDEZ MOLINA published a paper entitled "Morocco and the Middle East under Mohammed VI" with al-Sabah Publications Series at Durham University.
