Migration & Asylum Awareness Society supports the initiative "Thraedable"

Cristina & Aguiles, founders of "Thraedable"

Last week, the students of the College of Europe, Bruges campus, had the opportunity to meet the directors of a documentary on the asylum seekers of Lesvos in Greece and the problematic living conditions.

The screening was followed by a rich conversation with Cristina ORSINI and Aguiles OURAD, initiators of this project to help fund NGOs, including the Lesvos Legal Centre, which helps the asylum seekers and refugees to understand their situation and know more about their right.

This initiative is not only helpful in this dramatic context of migration crises and hotspots at the borders of the European Union, but also creative and original, funding NGOs through the sales of t-shirt and bags with patterns designed by refugees and ill children.
