Mr Alexander STUBB (Ramon LLULL Promotion – 1994-1995) elected Prime Minister of Finland

The College of Europe congratulates Mr Alexander STUBB (Ramon LLULL Promotion – 1994-1995 - European Political and Administrative Studies) on his appointment as Prime Minister of Finland.

 

Not only did Mr STUBB study at the College of Europe but he also taught at the College from 2000 until 2008. Mr Alexander STUBB was Minister for European Affairs and Foreign Trade (from June 2011 until now), Minister for Foreign Affairs (April 2008 – June 2011) and before that Member of the European Parliament (2004 – 2008).

 

College of Europe alumnus STUBB, took over Finland's five-party governing coalition after Prime Minister Jyrki KATAINEN stepped down.
