Ms Kateryna PRYSHCHEPA participated in a conference co-organized by OSCE-ODIHR

On 25-26 November 2019, the V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) and the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) held the conference "The Role of Money in Ukrainian Politics and Elections" in Kharkiv, Ukraine. The conference participants discussed the key issues concerning finance in Ukraine, focusing on the recent parliamentary and presidential elections.

Ms Kateryna PRYSHCHEPA, Project Officer at the College of Europe in Natolin and member of the 3R Project research team, presented a paper entitled "What is the 'price' of a majoritarian district in Ukraine?", which discusses the role of private funds and the use of state subsidies in the electoral efforts of the candidates in single mandate parliamentary districts in Ukraine.
