On Wednesday, 7 May 2015 four College of Europe (Bruges campus) students (GÓMEZ-REINO HERRERO Yago (ES), POURADIER DUTEIL Dimitri (FR), MOULONGUET Matthieu (FR), DONNER Lioba Désirée (DE)) gave a musical performance at "Familiezorg/Foton", a Bruges charity organization for people with dementia.
Foton helps the people by giving them physical and psychological in-house support and organizes social activities such as semi-monthly musical moments to entertain them. It is also the government-approved centre of expertise on dementia for the region.
Also attending the musical performance was a delegation of Japan. Japan is the first country to join the “International Foton circle” where Foton supports organizations from across the world in how to deal with the problems when suffering from Dementia.
The Student Affairs Office of the College of Europe Bruges Campus ambitiions to organize a big charity evening together with Foton and a number of students of the Chopin promotion during the next academic year.
