New article by Dr Kerry LONGHURST and Mr Quincy CLOET for EurActiv: "Beneath the froth – politics has always been at the heart of Eurovision"

Dr Kerry LONGHURST, Senior Researcher at the Natolin (Warsaw) campus of the College of Europe, and Mr Quincy CLOET, Research Assistant of the EP Geremek European Civilization Chair at the Natolin campus, have just published an op-ed article for EurActiv entitled "Beneath the froth – politics has always been at the heart of Eurovision".

          

The article – which can be accessed here – considers how the Eurovision song contest is at its heart a highly political creature. The song contest is about spreading Europe’s values of tolerance and cooperation beyond its borders.
