New publication by Dr Michał NATORSKI: "Model, player or instrument for global governance: metaphors in the discourse and practice of EU foreign policy"

Dr Michał NATORSKI, Senior Research Fellow at the European Neighbourhood Policy Chair at the Natolin (Warsaw) campus of the College of Europe, published a chapter in the edited volume "EU Foreign Policy through the Lens of Discourse Analysis", edited by Dr Caterina CARTA and Dr Jean-Frédéric MORIN.

The chapter entitled "Model, player or instrument for global governance: metaphors in the discourse and practice of EU foreign policy", co-authored with Professor Esther BARBÉ and Dr Anna HERRANZ-SURRALLÉS, presents an original approach to the study of the meanings associated with the label "multilateralism" in EU foreign policy.

The edited volume is considered by Professor Thomas RISSE as an "essential reading for anybody interested in the application of discourse analysis to ‘real world’ issues!" (link).
