New publication by Professor Tobias SCHUMACHER: "How to make the European Neighbourhood Policy fit for purpose"

Professor Tobias SCHUMACHER, Chairholder of the European Neighbourhood Policy Chair at the Natolin (Warsaw) campus of the College of Europe, has just published an op-ed on the current revision process of the EU's European Neighbourhood Policy.

Published by Europe's World on the eve of the Brussels European Council Summit of 25-26 June 2015, this piece argues that, in spite of considerable constraints and seemingly bleak prospects, meaningful reform of the ENP can be achieved, and it doesn’t necessarily have to come with a high price tag. For this to happen, though, decision-makers in the EU institutions and in member states’ capitals need to take several points into account.
