New publication series: Case Notes

The European Legal Studies Department is pleased to announce a new publication series. Alongside the Research Papers in Law, we now feature a Case Note Series dedicated to analysis of recent case law of the Court of Justice of the EU. These short papers provide a brief overview and critical understanding of important European judgments, aimed at a wide audience including academics and practitioners alike. The first Case Note has been published on 19 January 2017 and is entitled “European and International Criminal Cooperation: A Matter of Trust?” focusing on the CJEU’s judgments in the Aranyosi and Petruhhin cases.
