The College of Europe Development Office organized, in collaboration with the Fojo Media Institute, a one-day online course on EU Fact Checking & EU Fact Finding on 25 February 2021.
The programme started by covering fake news and the way the European Union tackles misinformation, and subsequently focused on EU news & EU information, EU legal texts, EU glossaries and terminology. It also covered EU statistics.
A group of 8 journalists joined the course, which aimed at improving their understanding and facilitating their coverage of EU affairs’ on media.
